3 killed in government vehicle accident in Baglung

 Three people were killed when a government vehicle met with an accident in Bhungkhani, Galkot Municipality, Ward No. 2, Baglung under Madhyapahari Lokmarg. The condition of one injured person is serious.

According to Narethanti police station, two women and one man died on the spot when the government pick-up vehicle No. RA 1 JH 200 fell down about 300 meters from the road around 9:00 this morning.

The police said that it is difficult to remove the body as it is in a difficult place. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed.

One person was rescued in an injured condition and sent to Dhawalagiri Hospital Baglung for treatment.

Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Subedi confirmed the death of three people. It is not clear how many people were in the vehicle. Therefore, he said, teams of Nepali Army and Armed Police have been mobilized at the scene for search and rescue.
